Hairy dieters book review and skinny Chicken Jalfrezi – We love the Hairy Bikers / Hairy Dieters food. It is really flavoursome. This is why we endorse their slimming programme and their methods of eating healthily with food that all the family will enjoy.
How to organise children’s treasure hunts – This is such an easy way to entertain the family whatever age they are. Treasure hunts can become themed around particular events around Christmas or Easter – or being part of a family picnic or children’s party in the summer.
Kids Pass = cheap family days out Having had a family we know expensive it is to take children out for the day. Of course like anything the Kids Pass is great if you use it. Kids Pass is not an expensive investment. It really can help you save money on theme parks, cinema trips and restaurants which are part of this scheme. Definitely worth looking into.
BorrowMyDoggy is a trusted community of dog lovers, where borrowers help take care of dogs when the owners are busy. They can help with walks, sitting and holiday care. Their aim is to leave ‘Pawprints of Happiness’ on the lives of dogs and people.
The Books we return to time and time again.
This is a book that you can work through or dip into. Unlike many books of its genre it is very timeless, is very much about authenticity as opposed to adopting techniques.
It crosses the path of both your career and family life so whether you are looking to forge ahead in your career or your role is managing a family and home it is a valuable read. As a parent there is much in this book which will genuinely help you understand how to communicate and motivate your children.
On a personal level this is a book I return to every few months to sharpen the saw (the seventh habit).
This a book is a book you can give your children to read. We did and it really helped them. It is a short easy to read book with a powerful message and certainly will help support anyone of any age who is feeling paralysed by fear of taking on new challenges or lacking in confidence. Again – if you are having a confidence crisis one to pull out of the bookcase.
We came across this book by accident – and loved it. The Present is a parable which again is easy for anyone in the family to read. It really helps you to think about how we can make the best of our lives by adopting this simple philiosophy.
