The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change (REV)
This is a book that you can work through or dip into. Unlike many books of its genre it is very timeless, is very much about authenticity as opposed to adopting techniques.

As a parent there is much in this book which will genuinely help you understand how to communicate and motivate your children.
