Easy Office-Ready Hairstyles to Do in 10 Minutes
Wouldn’t it be nice if we had our own personal hair stylist that could twist our hair into a perfect bun every single morning? Instead of struggling with bobby pins and hairspray for almost an hour every day we could actually get some more sleep, or enjoy drinking our coffee in peace. Unless you’re Madonna it’s unlikely you can afford a personal stylist, so we give you the next best thing. A few quick and easy office hairstyles that you can whip up in ten minutes or less, so you could be ready just in time for work.
To get any hair style to work, we need to have healthy, strong strands that can handle styling. Keeping your hair clean and well cared for is important. You won’t be able to do much with a damaged, dry mess on top of your head. If you want to know how to rejuvenate your hair and get those luscious, beautiful locks, you can read about it here.
All you’ll need is a flat iron. The first thing to do is spray on some heat protection and comb through your hair gently. Part it into two sections and braid them both loosely. Twist one of the braids away from your face tightly and take the flat iron. Place the flat iron around the braid and then twist it slowly down in the direction in which you twisted your hair. Do the same thing to the other braid and once you’re done, use hairspray to tighten the whole style.
This is a very gentle style that gives you soft waves even when your hair feels a little flat. It’s really easy to do even for a complete beginner, so feel free to fall back on it anytime.
It’s difficult to always keep our hair clean, but if you didn’t get the chance to wash it in the morning, you can use some dry shampoo and whip up a quick hairstyle that hides a bad hair day. This one is actually perfect for that second or third day after washing because our hair has a little more texture to it.
As for the hairstyle, this one works for any type of hair – straight, curly, kinky, you name it. No heat needed, just a few bobby pins. Comb your hair to the left side and pin it in place with a few bobby pins. Pull your hair from left to right and roll it into a simple twist around your fingers. Keep the bun in place with your hand. Use more bobby pins to secure the roll by pinning them vertically. Tuck the remaining ends of your hair into the bottom of the roll and pin it in place.
This is an amazing, easy look that looks very professional, so if you have an important meeting coming up you can impress everyone.
This is an excellent way to spice up your regular ponytail and make it really interesting. Pair this with some office-appropriate makeup and you’ll have a very soft, natural look.
For this, you will need a few elastic hair bands. Brush your hair and gather a large section at the back into a loose ponytail. You will need to leave two sections free in the front to add to the ponytail slowly. Take a small strand from the right front section and twist it away from your face. Wrap it over and around the ponytail and push the strand under the hair band. Do the same thing on your left section. Take another strand of hair from the front section, right underneath the first strand and twist it away from the face, and over and around the ponytail. This time keep it in place with a new elastic hair band. Do the same thing with the left side. Do the whole process again with the remaining strands of hair. Basically, you should have three strands on each side of the front parts, and you should slowly twist them around the centre ponytail, one by one.
This look may take some practice, but it’s quick and easy to finish after you try it a few times. It gives a really interesting twist to your standard ponytail and it will make you look professional and stylish with very little effort involved.
For mums, it can be overwhelming to rush through the day, deal with all obligations, and still look good while doing it. We hope these simple hairstyles can help you with that. Just remember that the best way to look good is to take care of your hair and your skin, and then you won’t have any trouble making yourself look good in the morning.
