How Help for Busy Mums started
As a particularly imperfect scatterbrained mum, of four children and three stepchildren, all now grown up, Help for Busy Mums came about as a result of my own experiences as a Mum.
Having been a stay-at-home mum, a full-time working mum, and also a step mum in later years, I became very interested in how some people managed their time better than others.
It appeared that some people were far more effective at managing their time or the magical work-life balance more successfully than I certainly was – and this was not just your typical busy mums and dads, but men and women in all sorts of walks of life both in the workplace and outside of it.
This fueled an interest to read relevant books and copy other people’s “best practice” which eventually has made her a bit of an expert in managing her own time wisely. Although at times it could be described as still very much work in progress as her children and long-suffering husband will testify to.
How Help for Busy Mums has grown
